Prayer Service - "United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues"

The World Council of Churches delegation to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII), will lead a morning prayer prior to the start of the Forum’s 23rd session.

The 23rd UNPFII session is taking place on 15-26 April 2024, at the UN Headquarters in New York and its theme will focus on "Enhancing Indigenous Peoples’ right to self-determination in the context of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: emphasizing the voices of Indigenous youth.”

The prayer service will take place on Monday, April 15 2024, in the chapel located at the Church Centre for the United Nations and members of the public are welcome to attend.
