The 5th edition of the Faith-based Investment Conference took place in hybrid format on 21 January, bringing together investors, faith-based organisations, and other financial actors at the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva and online. This year, the theme was “From words to action.”
The World Council of Churches (WCC) is supporting a new ecumenical campaign advocating for tax justice, called the Zacchaeus Project (#ZacTAX), that was launched 11 July at the United Nations in New York City.
The 3rd meeting of the Ecumenical Panel on a New International Financial and Economic Architecture (NIFEA) took place on 21-22 April in New York City to coincide with the United Nations 3rd Economic and Social Council Forum on Financing for Development on 23-26 April.
Meeting from 17 to 24 June, the newly reconstituted Commission on Faith and Order of the WCC has begun to define its principal trajectories for ecumenical study and common activity from 2015 until the next WCC Assembly in 2020.
