The KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum took place in Portugal from 14-16 May under the theme “Transformative Dialogue: Building Alliances for Peace in a Rapidly Changing World.”

World Council of Churches acting general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca will participate in the G20 Interfaith Forum, to be held in Bologna, Italy on 12-14 September.

Leading a plenary session on 15 October at the G20 Interfaith Forum, World Council of Churches moderator Dr Agnes Abuom spoke on the empowerment of women, youth and vulnerable people. The online forum drew more than 2,000 people from 90 countries.

World Council of Churches moderator Dr Agnes Abuom will lead a plenary session on empower-ment of women, youth and vulnerable people being held at the G20 Interfaith Forum on 15 Octo-ber. The online forum will feature hundreds of policymakers, prominent experts and religious leaders speaking over five days in dozens of sessions.

Dr. Agnes Aboum, Vorsitzende des Ökumenischen Rats der Kirchen (ÖRK), beteiligte sich an einem Interreligiösen G20-Forum zu Afrika, das vom KAICIID, auch als Internationales Zentrum für Dialog bekannt, ausgerichtet wurde und der Förderung des Dialogs zwischen den Anhängerinnen und Anhängern verschiedener Kulturen und Religionen gewidmet war.
