The World Council of Churches (WCC) morning prayer focused on World Health Day, observed on 7 April under the theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.”

World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay will visit India from 8-14 February to attend the largest annual Christian gathering in Asia, as well as meet with the National Council of Churches in India.

During a World Council of Churches (WCC) prayer on 2 December, those gathered commemorated World AIDS Day, which was observed 1 December, and also prayed with the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle for the people and churches of Myanmar and Thailand.
