Ecumenical Indigenous Peoples Network Reference Group meeting - Seminar on Indigenous spirituality, land rights, and climate justice

The World Council of Churches (WCC) Ecumenical Indigenous Peoples Network Reference Group is convening for the first time in-person at the WCC Ecumenical Institute at Bossey from 12-13 October to plan the work ahead.  The main objectives will be to build community and begin to shape plans and priorities.

Churches and Oikocredit: Interview explores roots of economic justice

In a conversation held at the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva, Rev. Dr Kenneth Mtata, programme director for Public Witness and Diakonia at the World Council of Churches (WCC), interviewed Mirjam 't Lam, managing director of Oikocredit. The discussion focused on the historical relationship between the WCC and Oikocredit, the impact of their collaboration, and future opportunities for engagement.

Ecumenical delegation meets Higher Presidential Committee of Churches in Palestine

Held online on 8 August as part of a pastoral solidarity visit to the Holy Land, an ecumenical delegation met with the Higher Presidential Committee of Churches in Palestine. The session focussed on the current political situation, the need for an end to the ongoing war and seemingly escalating conflict, so that the region may shift into building peace long-term.
