The World Council of Churches (WCC) central committee will convene in Johannesburg, South Africa, 18 – 24 June 2025, for important encounters on the Pilgrimage of Justice, Reconciliation, and Unity, particularly with South African churches. Media accreditation is mandatory for access to open sessions, press conferences, briefings, and seminars – onsite, as well as online.

The conference is dedicated to the Human Rights and the consequences of the ongoing conflict in Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh in terms of the protection of the Armenian heritage. It is organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) in collaboration with the Protestant Church in Switzerland to promote a constructive dialogue on the issues related to the protection of Armenian people and heritage in Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh, as well as other such experiences in the world.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) will provide both onsite and online services to accredited media in connection with two upcoming and simultaneously held ecumenical conferences in Berlin, Germany and Athens, Greece.

The Commission of the Churches on International Affairs (CCIA) of the World Council of Churches will hold a Life and Work Centenary conference on 18-20 May 2025 in Athens, Greece.

Commemorating the 140th anniversary of the 1884–1885 Berlin Conference that legitimized the colonial partitioning of Africa, this global event will confront the ongoing legacies of colonialism and systemic racism. At a time of growing polarization, the conference aims to offer an ecumenical and ethical framework of justice and solidarity.
