Armenian Heritage Conference holds a press conference at 1 pm CET on Wednesday 28 May. Accreditation is still open.

The conference is dedicated to the Human Rights and the consequences of the ongoing conflict in Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh in terms of the protection of the Armenian heritage. It is organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) in collaboration with the Protestant Church in Switzerland to promote a constructive dialogue on the issues related to the protection of Armenian people and heritage in Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh, as well as other such experiences in the world.

The World Council of Churches and the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva invite media to attend a special screening of the documentary: "Via Dolorosa: The Path of Sorrows", followed by a panel featuring church leaders and experts.

Press conference will address a challenging climate, political polarisation

As the ACT Alliance holds its General Assembly in Yogyakarta, faith leaders and actors, international and Indonesian speakers will comment on the growing humanitarian emergencies and the challenges linked to the ongoing climate breakdown and the role of civil society, including faith-based actors, in tackling these crises amid growing polarisation and reduced funding.
