Apply for the Global Ecumenical Theological Institute (GETI), which will bring together about 100 students ages 21-35 from across the world in Wadi el Natrun, near Alexandria, Egypt, 12-29 October 2025. 

The Ecumenical Institute at Bossey in collaboration with Faith and Order will host an international hybrid conference themed “Nicaea and its meaning for today” from 4-8 November.

As a new academic year is officially underway, Bossey faculty and staff, together with 32 students from around the world, gathered for an opening prayer service and orientation session on 11 September, embarking on what will be an intense period of ecumenical community building, academic learning, and discovering profound connectivity between them.

Students who complete the World Council of Churches’ (WCC) Global Ecumenical Theological Institute will now receive academic credits and a certificate from the University of Geneva—a new addition to the institute, which has been offering its courses for more than a decade. 

During the International Mission Partnership Consultation in Finland on 28 August, Rev. Dr Kuzipa Nalwamba, World Council of Churches (WCC) programme director for Unity, Mission, and Ecumenical Formation, explored what it means to “embrace a theology of creation.”
