"The marked enthusiasm and encouragement for an engaged, joyful, loving Christian life gives this book a real charm."— Renate Kern, Christ in der Gegenwart
“Moltmann’s The Living God and the Fullness of Life reflects the beauty and joy of the mystery of life given, sustained, and loved by God as a brilliant cut gem glitters in the light of the sun. As the many facets of the brilliance let the light shine in many beams, the different chapters of the book offer glimpses of the fullness of life in the presence of the triune God.”—Martin Robra, World Council of Churches
Jürgen Moltmann, among the most widely read theologians of our time, studied theology while a prisoner of war in England and, after his return to Germany, at Göttingen. His years of pastoring and teaching led him finally in 1967 to Tübingen, where he taught until his retirement in 1994. Since then he has held several visiting professorships internationally and undertaken lecture tours. Jürgen Moltmann has received numerous awards and 14 honorary doctorates.
