On the occassion of the publication of its third academic journal, the Current Dialogue, WCC invites media to attend the official launch event on Friday 7 February.
Current Dialogue, the WCC journal on interreligious relations, is launched in a new format as a resource for interfaith practitioners, researchers, students, institutions, religious leaders of different faiths, and all those interested in the study of religions.
The launch at 15.45 will follow a round table
from 14.00 to 15.30 on
‘Rethinking Interreligious Engagement in a Wounded World’
with religious leaders, diplomats, interreligious practitioners, peace activists and grassroots actors, exploring the following questions:
- Can interreligious engagement be business as usual in a world marked by division and destruction?
- How can interreligious dialogue reinvent itself as dialogue of and for life in our turbulent times?
- What does it entail to shape interreligious engagement as solidarity in service of a wounded world?
The launch (15.45-17:00 CET) will be livestreamed at: https://www.oikoumene.org/live
