One of the students, Rev. Ishaya Anthony, from the Church of Nigeria, shared that the conversation with the general secretary was an invitation and a challenge for us to embody and embrace the integrity of words in our ecumenical journey.”

Anthony also underlined that the knowledge the group gained from the institute is a tool and a catalyst for societal change and the flourishing of God's creation.”

Rev. Dr Benjamin Simon, director of the WCC Commission on Education and Ecumenical Formation and dean of the Ecumenical Institute, said that students in Bossey are always also a part of the worldwide ecumenical movement—in this respect we are very grateful that the general secretary has once again held intensive discussions with them.”

Applications are open for the Bossey Academic Year 2025-2026
