Bossey summer course

The students enrolled in the course, “English as a Tool for Ecumenical Formation,because they discerned a need to enhance their English language proficiency.

This course is offered to students admitted to one of the following Bossey courses: Complementary Certificate in Ecumenical Studies, Master of Advanced Studies in Ecumenical Studies, or Certificate of Advanced Studies in Ecumenical Studies.

This year’s participants come from the Egypt, Georgia, Indonesia, China, and Costa Rica. Two additional participants from Laos and Armenia are expected to join later.

The students were welcomed on 17 June by Rev. Dr Kuzipa Nalwamba, WCC programme director for Unity, Mission, and Ecumenical Formation, who encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity and to commit themselves fully to their learning. 

The course, being taught by Richard Morris, is taking place from mid-June until the beginning of the autumn semester.
