WCC Faith and Order, in collaboration with Christian World Communions, is organizing the series to explore key theological, ecclesiological, and missional questions relevant to contemporary Christian unity.

The 15 July webinar, 15:00 – 16:00 CEST, cohosted by the World Council of Churches and Mennonite World Conference, will invite us to explore the significance of the Nicaean Creed, and the Council of Nicaea from where it emerged, from a Mennonite/Anabaptist perspective, and how this influences the peace witness of the church.

Panelists will discuss how the churchs focus on doctrinal questions sidelined Jesus’ call to seek justice and live nonviolently. From a Mennonite/Anabaptist perspective, participants  will be able to explore how recovering these aspects can contribute to the renewal of church witness today.
